Wanna catch up on what you’ve missed?
Hello my dear friends ![]()
I am happy today.
Today was so excellent.
My cousins Brandon & Britney just arrived from
Michigan and they’ll be here for the
WHOLE ENTIRE WEEK!!!!
YYYYAAAAAAYYYYYYY lol.
The holiday festivities continue ![]()
Britney has requested a Cucumber Apple Smoothie
for tomorrow ![]()
They’re staying at Grammy’s place
So I will most definitely be over there visiting at some point,
and I will let her try out that smoothie.
We shall see if she likes it!
Either way I’m SO glad they’re here.

This morning I had
2 cups of water and
4 cups of Almond Kale Delight
AFTERNOON
In the afternoon…
2 cups of water and
3 cups of Creamy Avocado Soup
EVENING
This evening I had
2 cups of water and
2 cups of Carrot Ginger Soup.
Honestly?!?!?!
I don’t know if you guys are
ready for this one.
This soup is a
VERY DELICIOUS EXPERIENCE.
Very warming and filling too.
It was inspired by my Auntie Bev.
She made a carrot ginger soup
for the first course at
Christmas Dinner.
If you’re going to try this
Carrot Ginger Soup
prepare to be uplifted.
This is not an ordinary bowl of soup lol.
If you make this for your friends
They will think you are
a gourmet chef. And it’s SO easy.
You HAVE to try this.
See the recipe below.
This recipe makes 3-4 cups of
Carrot Ginger Soup
1 cup of water
1/3rd cup of lemon juice
3 cups of carrots, chopped & peeled
2 inches of fresh ginger root
(which is about 1 cup peeled & chopped)
1 Slice of red onion
1 TBLSP of organic tahini
(sesame butter)
1/2 clove of fresh garlic
1 tsp of sea salt
1/2 tsp of cumin
a dash of cayenne pepper
Blend all ingredients till smooth.
Then blend it again to warm it up and let all the seasonings merge,
or if you have a Blendtec like I do, just use the soup button ![]()
This Carrot Ginger Soup is SO off the charts.
Next time I make it,
I will most definitely be doubling the recipe.
How I’m feeling
Honestly????
I’ve never felt better.
Today was amazing.
My energy is up.
I feel stable.
My mood is pleasant too.
I’m just feeling really really good.
I should add that I’m also
taking whole food vitamin supplements.
Anyway that Carrot Ginger Soup was definitely
the highlight of my day lol.
I totally had an experience with that bowl lol.
I expect tomorrow to be just as beautiful as today.
It’s 10 PM as I’m writing this.
I think I’m going to reorganize my closet
then go to bed in a about an hour or so.

You should always check with your doctor before you make drastic changes to your diet for an extended period of time. Although I’ve never done a smoothie feast for longer than a few days, I’ve been eating mostly raw foods since the Spring of 2010, so this is not a drastic change for me. Should you choose to follow along with me or have your own personal smoothie feast, make sure you listen to your body and stay well balanced by using a wide variety of food. And remember you do not have to do 56 days to start reaping the benefits of a smoothie feast. 8 weeks is a long time for most people. If you are anaemic or pregnant please consult your doctor before you try this. I can not be held responsible for any medical condition or disorder that you may have or acquire, so please, take care of yourself. I've really been wanting carrot soup after reading another recipe a couple days ago... I'm going to try this tomorrow :) But does the ginger make it hot?
