Smoothie Feast Day 7

The holiday festivities are in full swing!
I’m stiiiill smoothie feasting lol ![]()
On Day 7 we had family dinner at my Dad’s house.
My uncle Ryan and his family came over.
This picture is of me
and my lil cousin, Eva.
Morning
Before leaving the house I had
2 cups of water
4 cups of ginger tea
Afternoon

Later on I had
3 cups of water
And about 6 cups of Apple Spinach Twist.
SUPER YUM! See the recipe below:
This recipe makes nearly 8 cups
of Apple Spinach Twist
2 heaping handfuls of spinach
4 apples
1 Banana (very ripe)
1/2 cup of lemon juice
1/2 cup of water
1 TBLSP of raw honey
Now before we move on from
the Apple Spinach Twist..
I have to tell you
I was NOT the only one
who enjoyed this smoothie ![]()

This is a picture of my dearest Uncle Ryan.
He saw me with the green smoothie and said,
“What’s in that?”
I told him…
And he said,
“Really… Can I… try that?”
I smiled and said,
“Of course you can.”
His first words after tasting the Apple Spinach Twist…
“This is actually… really… good!”
My heart beamed with joy.
After Uncle Ryan’s approval
the kids all wanted to try it too.
I’ve got video of this lol. Will share it with you on wednesday mixed in with a little Raw Music
EVENING
1 1/2 cups of avocado smoothie
(same recipe as smoothie feast day one)
Remember my post about
how to travel with smoothies?
Well I used a lot of those little
frozen cups to bring to the dinner.
Everyone who tried the
avocado smoothie enjoyed it!
That’s my Auntie Gretchen.
She’s planning to try
quite a few of these smoothie recipes
at home for the kids.
Her & Uncle Ryan are already
very health conscious
and open to trying new things.
Below you’ll see my Dad and Uncle Ryan.
Believe it or not… It passed the man test with flying colours lol. I let one of the kids pass out the little frozen cups of avocado smoothie. When my Dad first recieved it, he didn’t realize that it was “healthy” lol.
His first words were,
“This is from YOU?”
I smiled and said yes.
He said,
“It’s really good.”
(My heart said praise the Lord)
Uncle Ryan said the
avocado smoothie tasted
kind of like a sorbet.
I agree with him!
It’s the lemony zip that
gives it that feeling.
If you haven’t tried my avocado smoothie yet, it has now officially been tried tested and true.

Later that evening when I got home I had
4 cups of Spicy Kale Tomato Soup.
Again I warmed it up with coconut oil and almond butter.

How im feeling

I’m still enjoying the
Smoothie Feast, BUT…
Day 7 was harder than Day 6.
Why?
Probably because the food was
SO IN MY FACE today lol.
Being at the family table
Is VERY different from being at a church pot luck
where all the food is far away from your seat.
I made it, but it was tough.
My step mom is a REALLY good cook.
The food smelled awesome…
but I stuck to my smoothies!
They’re awesome tooooo
lol.
Left my house for my Dad’s place around 2:30PM
Got home close to 9PM i think.
So again I was out most of the day.
I feel good about how today went.
It’s 11:30PM as I’m writing
and I am going to bed
